HTEC, a provider of hydrogen fuel infrastructure solutions, and its partners Powertech Labs, McPhy Energy, Sacre-Davey Engineering and Boyd Hydrogen have received a notice of proposed award from the California Energy Commission for $2.125 million for a hydrogen refueling station in Woodside, Calif.
It will incorporate Powertech's station and dispenser design and will be capable of fueling over 25 hydrogen vehicles per day, with each fill taking three to five minutes. Hydrogen fuel will be made on-site with a McPhy electrolyser using renewable electricity and will be delivered using HTEC's high-pressure modular Drop & Swap system.
The station, named the “Four Corners Hydrogen Energy Center,” will be operational at the end of summer 2015.
