The Natural Gas Vehicle Institute (NGVi) is hosting its Heavy-Duty NGV Maintenance and Diagnostics Training program Oct. 14-16, in Nashville.
The course is designed to give heavy-duty vehicle technicians comprehensive NGV training, focusing mainly on maintenance and diagnostics. The three-day course examines the operation, maintenance, diagnosis and repair of these vehicles, covering both compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquefied natural gas (LNG) systems.
NGVi says the program is for technicians with at least basic skills in vehicle repair. The course includes operational theory with hands-on exercises and covers the use of DMMs, scan tools and other diagnostic equipment, as well as prepares techs for the ASE H1 exam.
