Green Alternative Systems (GAS), a company focused on compressed natural gas (CNG) and propane autogas system design and installation, has opened its newest facility, in Brooklyn, N.Y.
The company says that the Brooklyn site – GAS' tenth location – will provide alternative fuel vehicle conversions and after-sales service for its fleet customers. GAS also maintains locations in California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Florida and Indiana, where the company handles work related to vehicle/system warranties, parts and financing.
GAS, which was formed in 2006, has focused mainly on alt-fuel vehicle services for fleets' trucks, buses and other commercial vehicles. Its fleet customers include Dallas Area Rapid Transit, UPS and Ameripride Services.
