Government Fleets Can Now Acquire EVI Trucks, Vans

Electric Vehicles International (EVI), an electric vehicle developer and manufacturer, says the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) has approved four of EVI's medium-duty all-electric trucks and vans for sale to federal agencies and the U.S. military.

‘We are excited to partner with federal agencies and military forces as they look to transform their fleets to clean, energy-efficient, long-life battery electric vehicles that are built to stand up to the rigors of military use,’ says Frank Jenkins, vice president of sales and marketing at EVI.

EVI's class 4-6 delivery trucks, which feature a top speed of 65 mph and a range of 90 miles, employ lithium-iron-magnesium phosphate batteries from Valence Technology.
