Electric Vehicles International (EVI) has opened a new office in Southfield, Mich., to support its national marketing and sales efforts, as well as increased manufacturing capabilities at its Stockton, Calif., headquarters.
The California expansion includes the addition of 30,000 square feet to the company's plant, along with the installation of new equipment aimed at maximizing electric vehicle production.
‘Our plant improvements in California will help EVI modernize our electric vehicle manufacturing process, increase our production capacity and provide additional jobs,’ says Frank Jenkins, vice president of sales and marketing.
