Enterprise Rent-A-Car says it is installing electric vehicle (EV) charging stations from OpConnect at its Santa Monica and Torrance, Calif., locations to support the company's EV rental fleet.
‘Enterprise has been a leader in the adoption of electric vehicles into their rental fleet, and we are pleased to include these facilities into our growing charging infrastructure network,’ says Dexter Turner, president of OpConnect.
Enterprise notes that its customers can rent EVs from a dozen of its locations in Southern California. OpConnect's exclusive distributor, Go EV, coordinated this latest deal.
‘Partnerships like this help manufacturers conduct hundreds of thousands of test drives that are essential to the adoption of new technology,’ adds Greg Tabak, director of business rental for Enterprise in Southern California.
