Enterprise Holdings, owner of the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car brands, is providing Santa Ana, Calif.-based Orange Courier Inc., a messenger and delivery service provider, with two compressed natural gas (CNG) delivery trucks.
‘Enterprise allows us to improve our operations and provide a new service offering to customers who are increasingly looking for environmentally sustainable business partners – and do it without a large up-front investment,’ explains Evell Stanley, owner of Orange Courier.
Greg Tabak, Enterprise Rent-A-Car's director of EV programs for Southern California, says providing CNG trucks and other alternative fuel vehicles is part of the company's ‘total transportation solution.’ Enterprise also supports renewable fuels research, such as the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center for biofuels and its own Enterprise Rent-A-Car Institute for Renewable Fuels.
