Smart grid software company GridPoint Inc. says electric vehicle supply equipment manufacturers CabAire, eVco and Plug Smart Intelligent Energy Solutions have joined the GridPoint smart charging network.
GridPoint says its electric vehicle supply equipment integration partnerships, which already include Coulomb Technologies, are intended to create intelligent charging infrastructure for plug-in electric vehicles. The related software accommodates a number of integration approaches to allow charging hardware to join the GridPoint network, the company notes.
