Gladstein, Neandross & Associates, the organizer of the Alternative Clean Transportation Expo (ACT Expo), has confirmed that more than 70 alternative fuel vehicles will be on site during this year's event in Long Beach, Calif. – many of them available for test drives.
A full spectrum of alt-fuel vehicles will be on hand during the three-day event, including electric and hybrid, natural gas, propane autogas, clean diesel and DME vehicles. The cars and trucks will be from various weight classes and applications.
Among the many vehicles available during the special ride-and-drive event are the following: Peterbilt 384 LNG tractor, Freightliner Cascadia 113 CNG daycab tractor, Honda Civic Natural Gas, Volvo VNL 670 CNG tractor (Clean Air Power), Chevrolet Express 2500 gasoline/electric hybrid cargo van, (XL Hybrids) and Ford F-250 pickup (ROUSH CleanTech).
The event's exhibit hall will also be loaded with alt-fuel vehicles, ranging from light-duty assets (e.g., Dodge ProMaster CNG van (World CNG) and Ford E-250 CNG cargo van (Leggett & Platt CVP)) to heavy-duty trucks (e.g., Freightliner Cascadia and Kenworth T680 CNG trucks).
