The U.S. Department of Energy’s Vehicle Technology Office says it has given a “major makeover” to its Alternative Fuels Data Center (AFDC) Station Locator.
According to the DOE, new features include a bigger map, more detailed views of specific stations, and a “sleek look and feel, simplifying the user experience.”
The home page now includes a “Find Public Stations” tab, allowing users to search for stations at a specific location. The tab also includes a “Map a Route” feature, which shows specific fuel types available along a route between two locations.
Another home page tab, “Analyze and Download Data,” allows users to refine their search using filters – location, fuel and station.
The DOE says users should continue to monitor the ADFC Station Locator for new features, including an alternative fuel corridor planning tool.
