Cummins Westport Inc. says Rob Neitzke, who currently serves as general manager of the construction segment of Cummins' off-highway engine business, will become president of the company on Jan. 1, 2015.
Current Cummins Westport president Gordon Exel will shift to a senior leadership position at Westport at the end of this year.
Neitzke joined Cummins in 1994 and has worked in roles related to high-horsepower fuel systems, industrial applications engineering and emerging markets. Prior to joining Cummins, he was a management consultant at Deloitte and a controls engineer at Allison Gas Turbine.
Cummins Westport designs, engineers and markets spark-ignited natural gas engines for medium- and heavy-duty transportation applications.
