Coulomb Technologies has installed a ChargePoint charging station for electric vehicles at a public-parking site in St. Paul, Minn. The owners intend to power the station using 100% wind power through Xcel Energy's WindSource program.
Coulomb distributor Carbon Day Automotive sold the station, and ElectriCharge Mobility/MTI Inc. and Weber Electric Inc. handled the installation. Coulomb's ChargePoint network is open to all drivers of plug-in vehicles and all manufacturers of plug-in vehicle charging stations.
