Freedom CNG, a developer of compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling infrastructure, has announced that Jimmy Ramsey has joined the company’s business development team.
In this new role, Ramsey will be responsible for further developing Freedom CNG’s growing portfolio of fleet partners and increasing utilization at the company’s four fast-fill, truck-friendly fueling station locations.
Ramsey comes to Freedom CNG with over 12 years of experience in the alternative fuels industry and most recently served as a senior business development manager for Clean Energy in Dallas, where he demonstrated his ability to win complex public and private fleet fueling contracts.
“Jimmy shares our passion for educating public and private fleet operators about the benefits of adopting CNG fuel in an effort to lower fuel costs, reduce the country’s dependence on foreign oil and improve air quality. We welcome Jimmy’s many years of experience and industry knowledge, and we couldn’t be happier to bring him on board,” says Eddie Murray, director of business development at Freedom CNG.
As previously reported, Murray was recently promoted to this position, where he will develop, execute and manage strategies to encourage the adoption of CNG for local fleets at current and future Freedom CNG stations.
