ClipperCreek has released its LCS-25P Level 2 electric vehicle (EV) charging station – a 20 A unit that plugs directly into a standard 240 V outlet. The wall-hanging charger includes a 25-foot charge cable.
‘This product will streamline the [installation] process and greatly reduce total installation cost,’ says Dave Packard, ClipperCreek's president.
The retail price of the charging station is $549, and it comes standard with a three-year warranty.
ClipperCreek's full product line, including the new LCS-25-P, are compatible with and approved for use on all plug-in vehicles, including the Nissan Leaf, Chevy Volt, Ford plug-in vehicles, Tesla Model S, Honda Fit Electric, Toyota Rav4 EV and Toyota Plug-In Prius.
