Clean Energy Roadshow Kicks off in Georgia

The eighth annual Georgia Clean Energy Roadshow series, hosted by Georgia Public Service Commissioner Tim Echols, kicked off on Wednesday in Columbus, Ga.

Stopping at four locations from June 6-July 24, the events begin with a showcase of clean vehicles, followed by a three-hour seminar.

This year’s roadshow will feature the latest clean fuel options for fleet and transit operators alongside speakers from Georgia Power, Liberty Utilities, the Natural Gas Association of Georgia, Atlanta Gas Light, Blue Bird Bus and Nissan. Alt-fuel vehicles will join the early-morning outdoor technology showcase along with solar and other renewable energy displays for business and governments.

This year’s Clean Energy Roadshow schedule is as follows:

  • June 6, 2018; 7:30 a.m.-11 a.m., Liberty Utilities 2300 Victory Dr., Columbus;
  • June 8, 2018; 7:30 a.m.-11 a.m., Savannah Technical College, 5717 White Bluff Rd., Savannah,
  • July 17, 2018, 8 a.m.-11 a.m., Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce, 6500 Sugarloaf Parkway, Duluth; and
  • July 24, 2018; 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Dentons US LLP, 303 Peachtree Street, Atlanta.
