The Clean Car Expo will be held Feb. 16-18 at the San Diego Convention Center. The event will bring together alternative fuel vehicle (AFV) companies and other stakeholders to discuss and display the latest technologies in the industry.

Clean Car Expo is being held in conjunction with EUEC2015, the 18th annual energy, utility and environment conference. Over 3,000 delegates are expected at the joint events.

Mark Smith, vehicle technologies deployment manager for the U.S. Department of Energy's Clean Cities program, will be one of the plenary keynote speakers at the joint conference.

The $300 registration fee will be waived for employees, managers and operators of commercial or government vehicle fleets and Clean City coalition members who register online before Jan. 15. The Clean Car Expo will offer free registration to the public between Feb. 16 and 17.

“Alternative fuel vehicles continue to be an important consideration for fleet operators throughout the United States, as evidenced by President Obama's recent signing into law of the $0.50-per-gallon tax credit for certain AFVs,” says Dr. Prabhu Dayal, Clean Car Expo chairman. “In the interest of supporting the use of alternative fuel vehicles, we are pleased to be able to offer one free exhibit space to manufacturers of all types of alternative fuel vehicles.”
