Chesapeake Utilities Corp., a diversified utility with a large presence in natural gas and propane distribution, has appointed Thomas E. Mahn director of finance, responsible for overseeing all finance, treasury, risk-management and investor-relations functions for the company.
Prior to joining Chesapeake, Mahn was vice president and treasurer for Perdue Inc., a privately held food and agribusiness company. There, he provided leadership in corporate finance, cash management, risk management, and counter party/customer financial relations. His career with Perdue spanned 35 years.
