Clean transportation membership organization and consultancy CALSTART is now handling registrations for the HTUF 2012 National Conference & Expo, which will be presented at the Charlotte Convention Center from Sept. 18-20.
HTUF, the Hybrid, Electric and Advanced Truck Users Forum, focuses on fleet and military applications of hybrid and electric vehicles, as well as other alternative-fuel transportation technologies and topics. CALSTART and the U.S. Army founded the event in 2001.
‘This year's HTUF conference will offer specific, concrete pathways forward to a clean truck future, with the unveiling of a groundbreaking national roadmap,’ says John Boesel, CEO and president of CALSTART. ‘A clear path forward is critical for American energy security and economic stability, as our nation's commercial fleets continue to be buffeted by fluctuating energy prices.’
Conference attendees include fleets, truck OEMs, product and technology companies, and government and military officials. Experts will discuss fuel- and cost-saving fleet strategies for medium- and heavy-duty truck and bus fleets, and an exhibit hall will showcase the latest products from all spots on the supply chain. CALSTART is also coordinating a ride-and-drive event.
