Engineering and construction company Black & Veatch says it is joining the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Workplace Charging Challenge by adding 41 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at its Overland Park, Kan., world headquarters.
The DOE's challenge calls upon America's employers to commit to provide plug-in EV charging access to employees.
In addition to its deployed charging stations, Black & Veatch says it is also active in the design and construction of high-speed fast charging EV infrastructure throughout North America.
The company is signing the DOE's pledge in conjunction with National Drive Electric Week, celebrated Sept. 12-20 at nearly 200 locations across the U.S.
