Bennett Pump Co., a Spring Lake, Mich.-based provider of fuel dispensing technology for retail and commercial applications, as well as alternative fuels technology, has announced that George Slater has joined the team as director of clean fueling products.
In this new role, Slater will be responsible for managing the global sales effort for Bennett hydrogen and natural gas dispensing products.
Slater has a diverse background in construction project management, the oil and gas industry, and alternative fuels equipment sales and station design. Specifically, he has over seven years of traditional fuels station design experience with Barghausen Consulting Engineers, five years of compressed natural gas station design/equipment sizing experience, and five years of project management experience.
Slater notes that he previously worked for Mansfield Gas Equipment Systems as a business developer and ANGI Energy Systems as a regional sales manager.
“I am well versed in all aspects of planning, design, budgeting, permitting, equipment and construction of alternative fueling station infrastructure. I’m very excited to be a part of the Bennett team,” he says.
