American Power Group Inc. (APG) has named Dana Brewster as a regional business development manager, responsible for driving growth in APG's on-highway and off-road vehicular business for the eastern U.S.
APG's Turbocharged Natural Gas dual-fuel system is an aftermarket application for converting diesel-powered vehicles to run on natural gas. Brewster will work in tandem with APG's WheelTime Network distribution partners and natural gas fueling suppliers to identify strong markets for the Turbocharged Natural Gas offering.
Brewster has deep experience in the heavy-duty trucking industry with both OEMs and aftermarket-systems companies. He was most recently national account manager for the transit and off-highway engine division at Navistar. Before that, Brewster was with Engine Control Systems (ECS), responsible for the sales of emissions retrofit devices.
‘Now that we have completed our five regional sales training sessions with WheelTime in the U.S. and installation training is ongoing, we need someone to make an immediate impact,’ says Steve Majkowski, APG's vice president of sales and marketing. ‘Dana's previous experience in HD engines and managing a distribution channel was exactly what we were looking for.’
