Amtrak says it is buying electric stand-up vehicles (ESVs) from T3 Motion Inc. to assist security personnel with platform and parking-structure patrols.
The 11 ESVs will be delivered to security units in New York; Los Angeles; Chicago; Philadelphia; Baltimore; Hamden, Conn.; and Washington D.C., this month, T3 Motion says. More than 3,000 T3 Series vehicles have been deployed worldwide, the company adds.
