America's Natural Gas Alliance (ANGA) has named Martin J. Durbin president and CEO, effective May 1. He was most recently executive vice president of the American Petroleum Institute, where he led advocacy efforts for the oil and gas industry.
Prior to serving at API, Durbin was vice president of federal relations for the American Chemistry Council, where he directed federal legislative efforts, lobbying, coalition building and political programs. He was previously s a legislative assistant for Democratic members in both the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives, where he covered environmental and energy-related issues.
