The inaugural Tri-State Alternative Fueling Expo & Conference will be held Feb. 18-20, 2014, at the Monroeville Convention Center in Monroeville, Pa. The event will tie the natural gas industry with the alternative fuels trade.
A full-scale compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling station will be on display as the event centerpiece. In addition, there will be a CNG DeLorean, CNG and propane vehicles available for test drives, and other alternative fuels displays.
The conference will feature a job fair, petroleum reduction workshops hosted by Pittsburgh Region Clean Cities, an after-hours exhibitor networking social and a keynote address by Sam Smith, the speaker of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
