The Metropolitan Energy Center and Mid-America Collaborative for Alternative Fuels are convening at the Mid-America Alternative Fuel Codes Summit on July 24-25 in Kansas City, Mo.
The event, which is particularly suited to city, county and state fleet operators, will cover the latest in alternative fuel technologies, regulatory trends and alternative fuel markets. The program features presentations from experts in the fields of fleet facility modifications, electric vehicle charging, and biofuel, propane autogas and compressed natural gas fueling stations. Attendees will also engage in interactive discussions on real-world challenges and success stories associated with codes officials, inspectors, engineers and fleet operators from four states.
The summit will run on Thurs., July 24, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Fri., July 25, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The location is the Kauffman Foundation Conference Center at 4801 Rockhill Rd. in Kansas City.
