AliphaJet Inc., a San Francisco-based company that specializes in producing drop-in renewable fuels to replace jet fuel, diesel and gasoline, has joined the Advanced Biofuels Association (ABFA).
‘As we begin the commercial scale-up phase, we chose to join the most effective organization representing our industry's interests and working to make sure we have a sound national energy policy that includes advanced biofuels,’ says Jack Oswald, CEO of AliphaJet.
AliphaJet is currently developing a demonstration-scale facility with an annual capacity of 500,000 gallons. This plant, which will produce renewable jet fuel, diesel or high-octane gasoline via the company's proprietary BoxCar catalytic de-oxygenation process, is targeted be operational during the next year.
