AeroVironment says its fast-charging system for electric vehicles (EVs) has received certification and listing from Underwriters Laboratories (UL). This is the sixth AeroVironment EV-charging system that has gained UL certification.
AeroVironment's fast-charging system, which passed hundreds of trials as part of UL's testing program, is designed to provide a full EV recharge in less than 30 minutes, the company notes.
In addition to its charging systems, AeroVironment offers hardware and software solutions designed specifically for EVs, such as its EVBoost roadside-assistance charging system for repair and towing companies, and Web and mobile phone applications that link drivers to their charging networks.
