Xebec Adsorption Inc., a company focused on designing and manufacturing products for the purification and filtration of gaseous fuels, is expanding into the U.S. with a new office in Houston and a senior management team dedicated to the market.
Parag Jhonsa has joined the company as president of Xebec Adsorption USA and as corporate vice president, business development, for Xebec Canada. Prior to joining Xebec, Parag was president and general manager of ProSep USA Inc., where he led the business unit that provided the oil and gas industry with custom-engineered process equipment system solutions for oil, gas and water processing and purification.
The company has also hired Gary Blizzard as vice president of business development and process engineering for its U.S. operations, as well as corporate vice president of sales for Xebec Canada. He was previously executive vice president of process engineering and product development with ProSep, as well as vice president, marketing and business development, at NATCO Group.
Xebec has also hired Dr. Peter Cheng as general manager of Xebec Adsorption (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. Over the past 20 years, Cheng has held various executive positions with ABB, Ontario Power Generation, Hong Kong and China Gas Investment Ltd., and A.T. Kearney. He is a professional engineer in Ontario, a qualified senior engineer in China, a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and an advisor to the Enterprise Management Committee of the China Gas Association.
