Patsy's Bus Sales and CleanFUEL USA joined local clean-transportation stakeholders and dignitaries this week to open a new public-access propane autogas fueling site in Concord, N.H.
The facility, located on Hall St., is available for fueling 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services and the Granite State Clean Cities Coalition helped facilitate the station construction through a federal stimulus grant.
‘We have always been a proponent of alternative fuel vehicles, and adding this retail autogas station is proof that we believe propane autogas is a sustainable fleet fuel,’ says Joe Alosa, owner of Patsy's Bus Sales. ‘When you combine the cost savings with the reduction in emissions, you can't beat the benefits that autogas offers.’
Concord hosts one other propane autogas refueling site – a limited-public-access location operated by Energy North Propane at 75 Regional Dr.
