The Natural Gas Vehicle Institute (NGVi) has been honored with the Automotive Training Managers Council's (ATMC) 2012 National Excellence in Training Award for its CNG Fuel System Inspector Training program.
The two-day inspector training course provides technicians with the information and skills required to knowledgeably inspect compressed natural gas (CNG) fuel systems, detect and assess damage, and determine necessary next steps. In addition, upon completion of the course, students are prepared to take the related CSA certification exam.
‘I know I speak for our entire training team when I say how proud we are to receive this award,’ says Annalloyd Thomason, general manager of NGVi. ‘It is an honor to be recognized by such a reputable training affiliate in the industry.’
The ATMC is a group of original equipment and aftermarket automotive training professionals that identifies professional development strategies for both technical and sales/marketing training personnel.
