FEV GmbH, a company focused on vehicle powertrain engineering and development, says it has expanded its offerings to include motor design, testing and integration for electric and hybrid-electric vehicles.
The company's expertise includes CAE-supported electric-motor optimization; motor and drivetrain functional testing; performance testing; thermal evaluation; and durability testing, FEV says. The firm has also developed a suite of electric powertrain integration capabilities designed to support OEMs that are bringing products into production, including packaging engineering, vehicle simulations, and calibrations for drivability and performance.
