The City of Hamilton, Ohio, has opened its first public-access compressed natural gas (CNG) refueling station.
According to a Journal-News report, city officials held a ribbon-cutting ceremony last Friday for the $2.4 million project, which is located at 2210 S. Erie Blvd. The station, partly funded by a state grant, features four pumps offering fuel at $1.99/GGE.
The report says the City of Hamilton, itself, owns five CNG-powered vehicles and has plans to add at least one more to its fleet next year.
