TruStar Energy and High Plains Bioenergy (HPB) have debuted a fast-fill compressed natural gas (CNG) refueling station at 3271 U.S. Highway 54 in Guymon, Okla.
HPB parent company Seaboard Foods will be a main customer of the public-access facility. Seaboard Foods operates a substantial fleet of natural gas vehicles – some 160 NGVs – that is forecast to displace more than 1 million gallons of diesel with CNG this year. The company's CNG fleet includes both light-duty assets, such as pickup trucks, and over-the-road tractors.
The station is HPB's first public CNG facility. It also represents TruStar Energy's first CNG station in Oklahoma.
