Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) reports that electrified vehicles accounted for a record 16.7% of its total sales in April.
Led by the made-in-Canada Toyota RAV4 hybrid (2,112 units sold), TCI’s best-ever month for electrified vehicle sales (3,876 units sold) helped bring the company to a 6.1% overall sales increase in April.
With recent launches further expanding its lineup of low-emission options, TCI now offers the RAV4 hybrid, Corolla hybrid, Prius AWD, Prius Prime plug-in hybrid, Mirai fuel cell EV and Lexus UX hybrid.
TCI is the exclusive Canadian distributor of Toyota and Lexus vehicles. It has sold over 8 million vehicles in Canada through a national network of 287 Toyota and Lexus dealerships.
