CNG One Source has partnered with the leading manufacturer of compressed natural gas (CNG) pressure regulators to engineer and design a specific regulator for natural gas engines.
According to CNG One Source, these newly designed regulators have been road tested in several CNG fleets using the ESI Phoenix engine in Navistar trucks over the past year with great success.
New CNG regulators can help with issues such as leakage and inaccurate fuel level readings. Fleet owners should also verify that their pressure regulators are rated for 3,600 psi rather than 3,000 psi or 200 bar.
The new CNG pressure regulator now joins other improvements already introduced to the market, including more reliable spark plug wires and more robust pistons.
The new regulators are only available through CNG One Source.
