AGA Systems Achieves EPA Certification for CNG-Powered GM Trucks

0

AGA Systems LLC, which supplies its proprietary compressed natural gas and propane conversion systems to automotive dealers, original equipment manufacturer truck integrators and certified installers, says it has received U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certification for its EcoSync HD CNG system for the 2018 General Motors 6.0 L engine platform.

According to AGA Systems, these EPA certifications are for both dedicated CNG and bi-fuel CNG operation of the 6.0 L engine used in the Chevy and GMC 2500/3500/4500 truck series.

The manufacturer says that the new certifications, along with the same certifications for model-year 2017 GM trucks received earlier this year, enable AGA Systems to offer EPA-certified CNG systems for the entire GM 2017 and 2018 model-year trucks on the 6.0 L platform.
