Worthington Industries Inc., an Ohio-based diversified manufacturing company, has acquired James Russell Engineering Works Inc. (JRE), a manufacturer of aluminum and stainless-steel cryogenic transport trailers used for hauling liquefied natural gas (LNG), hydrogen and other gases for producers and distributors.
‘[JRE's] capabilities complement the Aritas cryogenic business we recently purchased in Europe,’ says Andrew Billman, president of the Worthington Industries pressure cylinders business.
‘With the addition of JRE's transport trailers, we are now able to support our customers' storage and transport needs in every part of the LNG and industrial gas “mobile pipeline,' from the oilfield to on-site storage and re-gasification,” he adds.
