Roush Enterprises Inc. has acquired a 60,000 square-foot building adjacent to its existing campus in Livonia, Mich., in order to accommodate the growth of its ROUSH CleanTech subsidiary.
ROUSH CleanTech provides liquid propane autogas systems for fleet vehicles. The company's key customers include Frito-Lay, ThyssenKrupp Elevator and DHL Express.
‘This new facility gives us the space we need to successfully run our business and continue to support the increasing customer demand,’ says Joe Thompson, president of ROUSH CleanTech.
The facility will give the company more office space, as well as a larger area for manufacturing and assembly of propane autogas fuel systems. The production and assembly of new propane-powered Blue Bird Vision school bus fuel systems and engine upfits will also move to the new site.
