Hydrogenics Corp., a developer and manufacturer of hydrogen generation and hydrogen-based power modules, has introduced a new fuel cell system for medium- and heavy-duty buses and trucks.
Dubbed ‘Celerity,’ the system offers original equipment manufacturers what the company calls an ‘all-in’ design, including optimal voltage and form factor configurations for swift integration into vehicles, without the need for voltage-conversion packages.
Celerity also includes an advanced cold-weather package, which gives a system storage capability of -40 degrees C and system start-up capability of -10 degrees C.
The system also includes reverse-current protection and a fully integrated air-delivery blower to deliver the optimum air flow for low-pressure stack operations, Hydrogenics says.
