The California Hydrogen Business Council (CHBC) says it will host a one-day workshop to discuss hydrogen and fuel cell solutions and ways to meet emissions-reduction goals of California ports.

According to the CHBC, presentations from port authorities, terminal operators, trucking companies, and hydrogen and fuel cell technology providers will lead to discussions of opportunities and challenges. The event will include tabletop exhibits.

As stated, the purpose of the workshop is to “develop an understanding for the needs and challenges of California ports to reduce their emission footprint and meet California state air quality requirements, as well as provide current hydrogen solutions.”

The event will be held Nov. 10 at the Banning’s Landing Community Center in Wilmington, Calif., from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The fee for CHBC members is $150; non-members pay $200.
