This fall, Long Beach City College is offering an updated career technical education (CTE) program in advanced transportation technology.
According to the college, the program is designed for students looking to enter a career in the field of alternative fuel vehicles. It provides students with knowledge and skills needed to become, for example, a technician, service writer or parts support specialist.
The school says students will learn the latest technology while working on vehicles ranging from passenger hybrid cars to heavy-duty compressed natural gas vehicles.
The program is one of seven new and revised CTE programs for the college’s 2019 fall semester.
