BC Transit Corp. has awarded New Flyer Industries Canada ULC – the Canadian subsidiary of New Flyer Industries Inc. – a contract for eight Xcelsior compressed natural gas (CNG) forty-foot, heavy-duty transit buses (eight equivalent units), which will be converted from New Flyer’s option backlog to the firm order backlog.
BC Transit connects over 52.3 million customers in partnership with 59 local governments across 130 communities in the province of British Columbia every year, says New Flyer.
