On Tuesday, Clean Energy Fuels Corp. held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a natural gas fueling station in Kansas City, Kan.

Located at 4650 Kansas Ave., the station offers both compressed and liquefied natural gas. It will support the fueling needs of Seaboard Foods, an integrated producer and distributor of pork products, as well as other public and private vehicles and fleets in the region. Clean Energy says Seaboard Foods is expected to fuel 15 CNG-powered tractors on average per month at the site.

“The opening of this station highlights our commitment to support our customer’s growth,” says Clean Energy Fuels’ Matt Feighner. “Seaboard Foods is a leader in natural gas transportation, and we’re glad to be a partner with them, as well as with the numerous other clean energy fleets in the area that have begun using this station.”
