Michigan-based Green Bridge Technologies LLC (GBT), a subsidiary of propane autogas technology specialist ICOM North America, will now assemble, market and distribute Crazy Diamond Performance Inc.'s (CDP) compressed natural gas (CNG) retrofit systems across North America.

Ralph Perpetuini, chairman of GBT, says, ‘The ICOM Group has now expanded into natural gas vehicle systems with the best-performing technology in the industry. The addition of an innovative natural gas system technology will continue to support our role as an industry leader in the alternative fuel world.’

Going forward, GBT will offer all of CDP's EPA-certified ECODrive dedicated CNG systems for passenger-class domestic vehicles. According to a GBT document, the CDP systems will be available for the 2014-2016 Chevrolet Cruze, 2015-2016 Chevrolet Trax, 2014-2016 Chevrolet Sonic, and 2015-2016 Buick Encore.

Albert Venezio, CEO of GBT, says, ‘We chose to launch with the Chevrolet Trax and Cruze, as they fit a key fleet segment that was under-supported, such as utilities, municipalities, government agencies, livery and medical delivery fleets. Drive one today, and experience the difference.’

‘We are very excited and pleased to announce that GBT will feature CDP ECODrive advanced natural gas vehicle technology,’ states Kevin Fern, president of CDP, in an announcement. “This agreement allows CDP to reach a large network of dealers and installers, with service and professionalism, unmatched in the industry. CDP looks forward to a long-term partnership, as it begins to get its technology out to the industry.’
