The organizers of the Green Transportation Summit & Expo (GTSE) are pleased to announce that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s West Coast Collaborative (WCC) partnership is co-locating its annual Partners Meeting with the GTSE event.

The WCC is a public-private partnership whose members identify and implement strategies for reducing diesel emissions in the western U.S. Comprising public agencies, non-governmental organizations, quasi-public entities and the private sector, the collaborative maintains workgroups in areas such as over-the-road, marine and rail transportation, as well as in construction and agriculture.

“The West Coast Collaborative partnering with the Green Transportation Summit & Expo is a positive development across the board,” says Brian Trice, conference director for the GTSE and coordinator of the Columbia-Willamette Clean Cities Coalition. “Both entities will draw from each other’s strengths in order to present a world-class event for alternative fuels and related clean technologies.”

The GTSE, which is scheduled to convene at the Greater Tacoma Convention & Trade Center in Washington on April 5-7, 2016, is focused on delivering programming for fleets and other stakeholders interested in alternative fuels and other clean, low-carbon-emitting technologies. It features an agenda with dense coverage of advanced transportation issues, explored through the lens of incentives/grants, policy mandates, refueling infrastructure and other angles. The GTSE is also host of the exclusive Performance Ride & Drive: the only closed-course, racetrack ride-and-drive in the alternative fuels industry.
