IGS CNG Services and Speedway LLC, operator of a chain of combination gasoline stations and convenience stores, have announced the opening of their new public-access compressed natural gas (CNG) station in South Bend, Ind.

The facility, located at 6161 W. Brick Rd. at a Speedway site, represents the partners’ second completed CNG station project, with the first located in Findlay, Ohio. The South Bend station features two CNG fueling lanes and four hoses.

“We’re pleased to offer a domestic fueling option that is convenient to fleets traveling the I-80 corridor,” says Scott White, president of IGS Energy, parent company of IGS CNG Services.

The South Bend location is the 11th in the IGS CNG Services family of public-access stations and is the company’s first in Indiana.
