Oregon Getting Ready for New Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

0

The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) has proposed 11 locations for new electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in the state and is inviting the public to register feedback about the options.

The ODOT explains that the chargers, which are being funded through a federal TIGER II grant, will most likely be Level II or Level III (DC fast-charge) units. Each charging station will provide electricity to one vehicle at a time, and two parking spaces will be reserved for EVs.
