Icom North America says it has extended its propane autogas fleet offerings with a slew of new U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certifications for its JTG liquid-injection bi-fuel and dedicated autogas fuel systems. The Michigan-based company explains these latest approvals are focused on police, government and livery vehicles.

According to ICOM, the certifications cover the Ford 3.7-liter V6 engine lineup for the model-years 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 Ford Police Interceptor Utility and Sedan, Explorer, Taurus, Edge, and Flex, as well as the Lincoln MKT, MKS and MKX.

Ed Zoglman, vice president of Icom's central division, says, ‘Icom enjoys a large police, government fleet and livery market, and Icom is the first to certify these key vehicle platforms for which we have a large order-bank.’

Icom also says it expects to soon announce additional EPA certifications for other key fleet platforms.
