Green Bridge Technologies to Begin Second Multi-City Road Tour

Green Bridge Technologies LLC (GBT), the natural gas vehicle (NGV) division of alternative fuels systems manufacturer ICOM North America, says it will begin a Southeastern Road Tour on May 2, driving a dedicated compressed natural gas (CNG) Chevy Trax through Alabama, parts of Georgia, Florida, Tennessee and North Carolina and finishing in the Tidewater region of Virginia on June 10.

According to GBT, this regional tour is the second in a series that the company is undertaking as part of a brand launch. The first tour, which took place earlier this year, stretched through more than 30 Mid-Atlantic and Midwest cities and concluded at GBT’s headquarters in New Hudson, Mich.

“Regional road shows give us an opportunity to introduce our brand and Crazy Diamond Performance vehicle lineup to prospective fleet customers and to our clean cities coalition and natural gas company allies,” says GBT CEO Albert Venezio.

“These sub-compact and compact sedans and SUVs fit a niche that no other NGV supplier currently fills,” adds Venezio, noting that the company is fielding inquiries from fleets looking for light-duty options other than, or in addition to, pickups or vans.

In addition to the Chevy Trax, other dedicated CNG vehicles available through GBT include the Buick Encore, Chevy Cruze and Chevy Sonic, all featuring Crazy Diamond Performance ECODrive technology. GBT says all of its initial vehicle offerings are certified by the Environmental Protection Agency to Tier 2 Bin 3 emissions levels.
