Buffalo, N.Y.-based Cobey Inc. says its Cobey Energy unit has been awarded a supply contract from Buckeye CNG Ltd. for the company's new compressed natural gas (CNG) refueling site in Millersburg, Ohio.

As a part of the agreement, Cobey will supply a gas dryer, CNG compressor (Cobey model CE-C50), storage tanks, a dispenser and a card reader. Cobey Energy designs and manufactures CNG equipment at its New Year headquarters.

‘Buckeye CNG is ahead of the curve in adopting natural gas as a viable, cost-effective alternative fuel to meet their energy needs,’ says Craig Jackson, business development manager for Cobey Energy. ‘This project highlights the effective use of Ohio's energy resources spurred from development and utilization of our shale plays.’

Delivery of the equipment will begin in April, and Cobery expects to complete the infrastructure development and commission the station in May.
